Use the adjustable Rope Lanyard to create a safety anchor in the tree during a climb, or as a tree tether, or as a linemans' belt with your own climbing sticks or steps.
Our Rope Lanyard is a six foot length of climbing rope. On one end, the rope has a spliced eye with a carabiner for attaching it to your saddle side D. On the other end, a prusik friction knot is tied on the rope along with a carabiner for attachment to your other saddle side D. There is a stopper knot tied at the end of the rope to keep it from slipping out of the prusik. You can adjust the length of the lanyard while you're climbing, by pulling the rope through the prusik to shorten it, or by pulling down on the prusik to lengthen it.
